Our updated FACS I curriculum features a new student-friendly, full-color design. The teacher edition is done in a wrap-around format. A resource CD (HE 8001) includes printable versions of all consumable pages, written tests in Word® and ExamView® format, PowerPoint® presentations for each unit, crossword puzzles, MAX Teaching activities, teaching timelines, and more. A color wheel is also included with each teacher and student edition.The curriculum is aligned to Family and Consumer Sciences National Standards and can also be used to meet Oklahoma's Passport to Financial Literacy Standards when used with our FACS II curriculum.

Early Care and Education: Director's Pathway to Program Administration

This curriculum is designed to assist adults who wish to acquire additional skills in the area of center management. Early Education: Director’s Pathway to Program Administration builds on the Director’s series. It is aligned with Oklahoma’s Duty Task list for early care and education occupations and crosswalked with the Program Administrators Scale to provide director’s with up to date information. The curriculum is endorsed by Oklahoma Child Care Services and Oklahoma's Early Education Professional Development Council. Various media components and project-based activities are included in the curriculum to assist in preparing for a rewarding career in the profession. A CD with Powerpoint shows and multiple choice tests is included in the Teacher's Edition.

Early Care and Education: Master Teacher

Master Teacher is designed for early care and education students who have completed the Teacher Assistant course. The curriculum is aligned with Oklahoma CareerTech duty/task lists for early childhood care and education occupations. This in-depth study is designed to provide training in Master Teacher, Infant and Toddler, and School-Age. Master Teacher incorporates state licensing regulations and standards set forth by national organizations active in early childhood care and education.

Esthetician Specialty
Esthetician Specialty is a revision of our Facial Specialty curriculum. It has been updated with Internet activities in each unit, a new unit on facials in the spa setting, detailed information on aromatherapy, new information on stage make-up including airbrush make-up application, and multiple choice tests.

Manicure Series
Our Manicure Series includes Basic Manicurist and Manicure Specialty. Both titles are aligned with the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology’s licensing requirements and are approved curriculum for the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology.
Basic Manicurist covers anatomy of the arm, hand, leg, and foot, diseases and disorders, and preparing for a manicure or pedicure. Manicure Specialty covers nail wraps, sculptured nails, nail tips, gel nails, nail art, and preparing for the State Board exam.
Both Basic Manicurist and Manicure Specialty include a resource CD with links to Internet sites, as well as Internet-based activities to engage the student and enhance the learning experience.
